YWCA proudly announces the opening of its new innovative Microcenter early learning program at Capitol Elementary School in coordination with the Foundation for East Baton Rouge School System. The ribbon-cutting event introduced the new playground and welcomed visitors to the classrooms of infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years. Honored at the opening were major funders to the Foundation, including the Huey and Angelina Wilson Foundation, ExxonMobil, the Academic Distinction Fund, and individual donors. The new YWCA program provides high-quality early childhood education, ensuring that young learners develop the critical skills necessary for school readiness and long-term success.
