Over 200 YWCA members, community leaders, and dedicated supporters joined the official ribbon-cutting event to celebrate the dynamic new community center created to provide social services, educational programs, enrichment, and wraparound services for women and families. Located in the heart of the city, at 1609 North Blvd., at the Mid City Gardens, the center brings hope and inspiration. It underscores the urgent need in our community for support services for women and children affected by domestic violence. The center will offer pro bono legal services, court case management, financial literacy and education, workforce development and job advancement, art enrichment and therapy, fitness classes, nutrition programs, and teen leadership development.
